Board of Education - AP Scholar Awards

A group of 37 students from Mahopac High School, including recent graduates, have received Advanced Placement Scholar Awards from College Board, which recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional college-level achievement throughout their performance on Advanced Placement exams during the 2023-2024 school year.

 

“Congratulations to all of our AP Scholar and First Generation recognition recipients,” Superintendent of Schools Christine Tona said. “These students have challenged themselves to take rigorous course work and through their dedication, as well as the support of their teachers and families, achieved high levels of success. The entire Mahopac community is proud of these students and looks forward to their future accomplishments.”

 

The following students were recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction, who received an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more AP exams:

Several members of Mahopac High School’s Class of 2025, who are AP Scholar and National First-Generation recipients, were recognized at the Mahopac Central School District Board of Education meeting on Sept. 24.
