Rounding out the evening at June's BOE meeting was a celebration of three of Mahopac's board members who have served the community faithfully in their roles for years. Thank you to Lucy Massafra, Michael Martin, and David Furfaro, and good luck with your future endeavors!

The June Board of Education meeting celebrations continued on Tuesday with the tenuring of many of the great teachers who have joined the Mahopac CSD in recent years. Congratulations to all of Mahopac's newly tenured teachers!

This week's Board of Education meeting was packed with celebrations and conversation, and it began with a recognition of the incredible teachers who will be retiring from Mahopac CSD this year. Thank you for all of the incredible years of service to this community!

Mahopac High School's graduating class took a stroll down memory lane earlier today when they visited their old elementary schools. The seniors, clad in caps and gowns, were greeted by classes full of fascinated elementary school students.

Yesterday Mahopac's special classes ventured out onto the Mahopac High School track and field. MHS skills students manned stations ranging from bowling to water balloon throwing, and concluded with a sweet, icy treat. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Congratulations to Lakeview Elementary School's kindergarten class on a great performance at the Color Fair & Concert today and thank you to all of the parents that came down to support our students!

Thank you to all of our District Level Administrators for helping facilitate smooth day to day operations in all of our schools. From supporting students and staff to maintaining our campuses and classrooms, the work you do is invaluable.

This Saturday is Relay for Life, come join us at the Mahopac High School Track as the Mahopac community celebrates survivors and the memory of those we've lost. We hope to see you there!

The trout raised as part of the Trout in the Classroom program are a staple of Fulmar Road's fourth grade classrooms every year. Today it was time for students to release them into the wild at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
