Last week, Lakeview Elementary's fifth grade class came together to celebrate the grand opening of their much anticipated new library. Principal Elizabeth Blessing also took the opportunity to honor the late and much loved member of the Lakeview family, Josephine Wegel, with a reading corner dedicated to her. Wegel's husband and daughter, Richard and Kristen Wegel, were invited to cut the ceremonial ribbon and usher in the fifth grade class to explore their brand new learning space.
