The talented students from the Mahopac High School Drama Company entertained theatergoers with three performances of “This Murder Was Staged,” Oct. 24-26. Under the leadership of Mahopac teacher Christopher Purr, the fall production was a comedic murder mystery play-within-a-play where everyone, including the audience, was identified as a suspect.
During the play, when a difficult director’s dead body was discovered, the theater became a crime scene and a series of flashbacks revealed that everyone had a motive for murder. We enjoyed watching the talented actors bring this hilarious whodunit to life and can’t wait to see them in the spring musical production of Annie!
